Your checklist

The usual steps for an international student applying to a bachelor's in the Dominican Republic, in order. Tick them off as you go — your ticks stay in this browser, with no account.

1.Choose a university and ask its admissions office for the requirements for applicants with studies abroad.
2.Legalise or apostille your school certificates in the country that issued them, and have them translated into Spanish if needed.
3.Have your foreign secondary studies recognised by the Ministry of Education (MINERD) — the university will tell you what it needs.
4.Apply to the university and take any entrance tests it sets (at the UASD, a diagnostic test and the POMA).
5.Enrol once admitted.
6.Apply for the student visa at a Dominican consulate with your university's documents.
