There is no central application system: you apply to each institution directly. Programmes usually start: August–September (start of the academic year).

- International applicants
- International students apply directly to each university; the national selection (SNPMB) is for Indonesian students. The university then requests the student's study permit from the ministry.
- Language
- TOEFL or IELTS for English-taught international classes, at the score each university sets.
Key dates
Each university publishes its own international admission schedule; Universitas Indonesia's 2027 undergraduate dates were not yet published when checked.
