The essentials
- Application system
- None — apply to each institution on its own website.
- When programmes start
- August (first semester).
- International applicants
- International students apply directly to each university's international programmes; Thai students go through the national TCAS system, which some universities also use to confirm places.
- Language
- An English test (IELTS, TOEFL or the university's own) for English-taught programmes.
Key dates
Each university and international programme sets its own rounds. At Chulalongkorn, international programmes have run an early round in late November–December and a regular round in late February–March (the dates on its page are for the 2025 intake); check each programme's page for the 2027 dates.
The dates for the next intake haven't been published yet. We add them once the official source does.
