ANAQ-Sup, Senegal's quality-assurance agency, evaluates programmes and gives a decision: accredited or not accredited. Each decision is shown with the year ANAQ-Sup lists for it. An accreditation is granted for five years by ANAQ-Sup's own rule, but this page does not work out whether one is still running, and a programme that has no decision here may simply not have been evaluated — it is not a finding either way. ANAQ-Sup's lists as read on 20 October 2026.

Habilitation opinion

Habilitation is the ministry's authorisation for an institution to award higher-education degrees; ANAQ-Sup evaluates the institution and gives an opinion (favourable or unfavourable) first. The opinion is shown with its year and the programmes ANAQ-Sup lists with it. By ANAQ-Sup's rule a habilitation lasts ten years.

What isn't here

Only institutions with at least one decision on ANAQ-Sup's lists appear here; this is not a register of every institution allowed to operate. The ministry also publishes a list of private establishments it does not recognise — anything on that list is left out of these pages. Before enrolling, check an institution with the ministry's services.

ANAQ-Sup's lists hold decisions only: there are no student numbers, fees, entry requirements or graduate outcomes per institution, and the ministry's own register could not be reached.

Institution and programme names are ANAQ-Sup's, in French; where its lists spell one institution several ways, we show one spelling and file the faculties, schools and doctoral schools of a public university under the university. English field labels are our translation.
