The essentials

Application system: CampusenThe ministry's national platform for new bacheliers' applications to public universities and ISEPs; it also lists recognised private institutions, which also admit directly.

International applicants: At the University Cheikh Anta Diop, holders of a foreign baccalauréat apply only through Campusen, like Senegalese bacheliers. Public universities' registration fees are higher for students from outside the UEMOA and the other countries the ministerial order lists.

Key dates

The main 2026 Campusen window ran from 19 May to 15 June 2026; the only later window is for Senegalese bacheliers from the October replacement session (closing 8 November 2026 at 23:59). Dates for 2027 had not been published when we checked; they are announced on Campusen.

Your checklist

The usual steps for an international student applying to a bachelor's in Senegal, in order. Tick them off as you go — your ticks stay in this browser, with no account.

1.Check that the institution and programme you want are recognised: look for its habilitation and the programme's accreditation, and ask the ministry's services if in doubt.
2.For a public university, create an account on Campusen; holders of a baccalauréat from another country choose the foreign-baccalauréat route.
3.Enter your baccalauréat series, marks and country, and upload your last three years' school reports, your baccalauréat pass certificate and transcript, and an identity document (PDF).
4.Activate the account from the e-mail Campusen sends, and confirm your identity.
5.Log in with the student number (INE) you receive, choose your programmes and rank them in order of preference, then save to submit.
6.Keep the acknowledgement e-mail with your submission number and choices.
7.If you are preselected, bring the originals or certified copies of your documents to the institution's student-records office.
8.Pay the registration fee when you enrol: the amount depends on your nationality and level.
9.Ask Senegal's embassy or consulate about the visa and residence you need to study.
