Fees and admission
Undergraduate study at Argentina's national universities is free of tuition, and most admit without an entrance exam. Whether and what a national university may charge non-resident foreign students has been changing since 2024 and is set by each university — check with the university. Private universities charge fees, which are not published as data.
Figures are undergraduate (pregrado y grado) students for 2024, from the yearbook's partial advance release of August 2026; a later final edition may revise them. A university institute (instituto universitario) teaches in a single field. Institutions that sent no 2024 figures are not listed.
