Ontario's Ministry of Colleges and Universities surveys university graduates two years after they graduate and asks about work six months and two years after graduation. Its employment rate is graduates employed or offered a job, divided by graduates in the labour force (working, offered work, or looking for work and not in school) — people who went on to study and weren't looking for work are left out, so this is not the B.C. measure. A blank means 10 or fewer responses. The latest class, 2020–21, was surveyed between December 2022 and July 2023 and entered the job market during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ministry's file heads each class with one year (“2020”); it describes the latest as 2020–2021 graduates, so classes are shown as academic years.

What isn't here

Ontario publishes graduate employment rates per institution but no per-institution tuition or graduate pay under an open licence, and Statistics Canada's tuition averages combine every institution in a city — so we can't show you what McMaster University costs or what its graduates earn. Check the institution directly for fees; domestic and international rates differ sharply in Canada.
