Figures are for first-cycle (undergraduate) study only — master's and doctoral students are counted in other tables. Students are counted at each institution and faculty where they are enrolled in the academic year. The English name is our tidied form; the State Statistical Office's own English label is “MIT - Management and Information Technologies Skopje, MIT”.

Graduates are counted by calendar year, not academic year. A few small units are listed separately in the graduates table (an MIT college and a UACS school, 1–5 graduates in some years) and are not added to their university here.

What it costs

Fees are not part of the statistics. Public universities set their own: Ss. Cyril and Methodius University's call for foreign students in August 2025 listed €2,000–€5,000 for its English-taught programmes (€5,000 for general and dental medicine) without saying whether that is per year. Private institutions set their own tuition, which is not published as data.
