🇦🇲 33 institutions

Armenia's universities — the part that's open.

This is a small and incomplete list, and it's worth knowing that before you use it. Armenia has roughly 60 higher-education institutions; open data covers about 55% of them, and the register that would cover the rest is closed.

Roughly half of Armenia's institutions are missing, and the best data is off-limits

What we can't use

ANQA's State Accreditation Register holds each institution's accreditation decision and how long it runs — the single most useful thing anyone publishes about Armenian universities, and something no other country in this project publishes at all. It carries an all-rights-reserved notice, so we don't reproduce it. The Ministry's own site blocks automated access.

What's left

Wikidata, under CC0 — names, cities, founding years and websites, contributed by volunteers. Armenia's statistics office and open-data portal publish only national indicator aggregates, with nothing broken out per institution. If your university isn't listed, that's a gap in the source.

Studying outside Armenia?

For the countries that publish cost, competition or graduate earnings, we can show you the actual numbers rather than a list of names.
