Your checklist

The usual steps for an international student applying to a bachelor's in Mozambique, in order. Tick them off as you go — your ticks stay in this browser, with no account.

.Choose an institution and course, and read its admission notice (edital) for the subjects your school-leaving certificate must include.
.Check that your secondary qualification is equivalent to Mozambique's 12th class; the notice lists the subjects each course requires.
.Get a Mozambican tax number (NUIT) — UEM asks for it, with a passport or residence document (DIRE) for foreigners, at pre-registration.
.Pre-register online, choosing up to two courses and day or evening study, and pay the exam fee by the reference the system gives (UEM: 900 MT per integrated exam).
.Sit the admission exams in January, or for courses that admit on documents, submit the documents asked for.
.Check the results on the institution's admission site.
.Enrol by the stated deadline with certified copies of your certificates, birth certificate and identity or residence document, or the place is lost.
.Check visa and residence requirements for students with Mozambique's embassy or consulate in your country before the academic year starts.
