🇳🇦 19 institutions · 86,646 students · 2024
Higher education in Namibia — every institution that reports to the regulator, with five years of students.
How many students each university and college had from 2020 to 2024, how many study full-time, part-time or at a distance, how many staff they employ and how their students did in the 2024 examinations — from the National Council for Higher Education's statistical yearbook.

What it costs, and what isn't here
The yearbook has no fees. Each institution sets its own, and may charge Namibian, SADC and other students different rates — the University of Namibia does — so ask the institution what you would pay.
No entry requirements, fees or graduate outcomes are published per institution, and graduates are counted only for the whole country — so this is a directory, not a matcher.
The 20 institutions in the yearbook
Students per academic year, largest first. 19 institutions submitted data for 2024: 3 public and 16 private. “—” for a year means the institution submitted no data for it. It is not zero, and it doesn't mean the institution had closed. The yearbook counts students on programmes at National Qualifications Framework levels 5 to 10, access and foundation programmes included; vocational (TVET) programmes and qualifications below level 5 are left out, so an institution's own total can be higher. Figures are headcounts, not full-time equivalents, for the academic year, which usually runs from January to December.
Tulipohamba Training and Assessment Institute submitted no data for 2024: its row shows the years it did report, and it has no page of its own.
NCHE's list of registered private institutions also names Atlantic Training Institution and Meyfield College, which have no figures in the 2024 yearbook.
