How old these lists are, and what isn't here

DHERST calls this an interim register. Its list of accredited programmes dates from December 2021, and most of the “next review” dates it gives have passed. Dates are shown as DHERST gives them: being listed here does not mean a programme or institution is accredited today — ask DHERST or the institution.

Institutions registered since the lists were compiled are not on them — the Innovative University of Enga, established in 2022, is one — and DHERST says the register does not yet include institutions registered by the National Training Council.

DHERST publishes no enrolment, graduate, fee or admission figures per institution (its statistics page is empty), so this is a directory of registered institutions and their accredited programmes, not a matcher.

“Programmes accredited by” is the accrediting authority DHERST's register names. Universities set up by their own Act accredit their own programmes, a few other registered institutions have a university as their accrediting authority, and for the rest it is DHERST.

Provinces as DHERST's register gives them. Quality-review dates are DHERST's, as given. Some programmes are marked “NON TESAS” in DHERST's list. TESAS is the government's Tertiary Education Study Assistance Scheme, which makes its awards for approved programmes; the marker is shown as DHERST gives it. Programme names are given as DHERST spells them.
