We compare your ORT main-test score with the mean score of the students each specialty admitted in 2025 on the same route — grant or contract, never mixed. It is not a cut-off: many students were admitted below the mean, and on contract places many specialties admitted students from the minimum score up. Being above the mean is not a guarantee, and being below it does not mean you would miss a place.

Each figure is the mean ORT main-test score of the students admitted, as published by the testing centre. It is an average, not a cut-off: by definition many of those admitted scored below it. The lowest score admitted is shown for reference only — the report notes that a large gap between highest and lowest can come from admitting applicants from privileged categories (льготники), so the lowest score is not a pass mark. The mean includes those admitted on privileged-category quotas and targeted places, which can pull it down.

These figures are for applicants admitted on ORT results. Under the government's admission rules, foreign citizens may instead take the university's own entrance tests, and their admission can run until 15 October.

The testing centre ranks admissions on the main test only, because universities require different subject tests. Subject-test scores also count in the competition for many specialties; they are not in these tables and the comparison here does not model them. Your answers stay in this browser.

The ±10-point band is our choice: about one standard error of measurement of the main test (8.8 points, from the report's national standard deviation of 31.1 and reliability of 0.92). There is only one year of these figures, so we could not measure how much a specialty's mean moves from year to year.
