🇲🇩 16 institutions · 432 programmes marked active
Moldova's universities — and the programmes ANACEC lists as accredited.
The 16 higher-education institutions on the Ministry of Education and Research's list — 12 public, 4 private — with each study programme that ANACEC, the national quality-assurance agency, marks active in its register: level, form of study and the accreditation term as it lists it.

What this list is, and what isn't shown
The list covers the higher-education institutions in Moldova's official system as the Ministry of Education and Research gives them.
Programmes are those ANACEC's register of accredited study programmes marks active, with the accreditation term ANACEC lists, as read on 27 October 2026. A term may since have been renewed, extended or withdrawn, so nothing here says a programme is currently accredited.
The register also keeps 419 programme rows ANACEC marks inactive — terms that have ended. They are counted, not listed.
No open data gives fees, enrolment, admission scores or graduate outcomes per institution, so this is a directory, not a matcher. ANACEC's register of accredited institutions has no entries yet (“Nu există date încă”), so no institution-level accreditation is shown; its separate register of provisionally authorised programmes is not included.
Programmes marked active, by level
| Bachelor's (licență, cycle I) | 237 |
| Master's (cycle II) | 222 |

| All, including those listed apart | 461 |
ANACEC's register holds 893 rows; 13 repeat another row exactly and are counted once. A programme offered full-time and part-time is two rows. Every row carries its own accreditation term.

3 further names in the register carry only rows ANACEC marks inactive: “IMI-NOVA” International Institute of Management (Institutul Internațional de Management „IMI-NOVA”), Slavonic University (Universitatea Slavonă) and University of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (Universitatea Academiei de Științe a Moldovei).
“Ministry act” is the order (ordin) or Government decision (HG) ANACEC prints beside a programme, as printed; ANACEC prints none for many rows.
Institution and programme names are the ministry's and ANACEC's, in Romanian (cedilla ş and ţ written ș and ț); programme names keep the classification code ANACEC prints with most bachelor's programmes, typos included. English names and every English label are ours.
Websites are those the ministry's list prints; some answered with an automated browser check when we checked it (27 October 2026); not bypassed.
